44 DAYS by Martine Delumeau

For a long time, I watched Guadeloupe, the native island of my parents, from afar. From metropol. A rapprochement happened when I watched the images shot by Guadeloupeans during the whole time of the general strike of 2009. 44 days of a strong and singular mobilization that my movie restitue as I perceived it.
